I am lost in the world of my own delirium..
With the broken headphones as my companion
and a curse-filled cypher blaring at ear shattering decibels...
I tried to write YOU...

Sa Saliw ng Oyayi…
I. Noon
inanod
Ng hanging tigang.
At the tip of my pen…
At the tip of my pen…
Thoughts
materializes.
Words
came to be.
Ideas
being written
Emotions
being shared.
At the tip of my pen….
I
travelled my worlds.
I
met people I made.
I
acquired knowledge I don’t have.
I
transformed into someone I want.
At the tip of my pen…
I
write.
I
travel.
I
feel.
I
lose my sanity.
At the tip of my pen…
I
pushed the limits
I
killed reality.
I
went to a place that is boundless.
At the tip of my pen….
I am
in my own imagination.
The Damned War
The drums had been rolled.
The trumpets had been blown.
The Dark Age had come to this mighty sinner’s realm.
And everyone knew that war had begun.
Horses trampled in all those barren lands,
with their masters on their backs in full gear and arms.
“Into the battlefields”, they yelled as they rode their
horses.
Into the battlefields they marched with their gleaming
swords at hand…
They rode and they marched…
Onward the battlefields, they sung…
Proclaiming to the foes that they had arrived
And thunders of fury were heard all around.
Spears and arrows
reigned and struck men to their doom.
Swords were
slashed and were stained with life.
In the bloodshed fields of this sinner’s land…
Thanatos had come to take his prey.
Blood curdling screams and unstoppable cries,
Heard from the innocents who were now prisoners of war.
As showers of fire descended from the heaven’s above,
Burning all the dark souls of this darken land.
Thousands were killed, millions had suffered.
In this forsaken land of greed, honor and pride.
Where no peace nor hope had existed
Where nothing was left but the wanderers of the night…
And the silence of the dead; condemned and forgotten.

A Childish Sentiment…
We ran like fury fires.
Unstoppable through the whistling wind of friendship and
fun.
We played like untamed cubs.
Deep in the meadows of this mysterious life.
Our minds flew high,
Through life’s bounds of reality and beyond…
Our spirits soared freely,
Unto the heaven’s lying above.
We were young and playful with life.
Living in a world of magic and sleight of hand.
Still innocent of what lies beyond the things we saw.
Still seeking what life will throw upon us.
We were kids and young at hearts.
The magic burns within our very hearts.
And now that we are crooked and old,
And that magic had faded away long since,
The memories will still remain…
When we were kids and young at hearts.
Of Forget-Me-Nots and Paper Planes
Faded polaroids lying on the floor,
filled with blurred faces and hazy smiles.
An old song playing on the broken radio
whose lyrics were words of fleeting memories.
As the sun slowly vanished from the skies,
Tears flow, unceasing.
A wilted forget-me-not tucked between the pages of Neruda’s poems,
With crushed petals and shards of broken hearts.
I miss you…
I unfolded the paper planes that we once threw atop the
cliff.
Hidden love letters, unread…
Only to be picked up by the wind,
entwined in the spring breeze,
gone in the
ephemeral memories of dazzling sunlight.
I yearn to hold your hands again
And together,
we run to the other side of this world.
Where we once chase fireflies and catch snowflakes in our
palms.
Where we lie on the cold hard ground and let the stars
blanket us with their warmth.
I long to crawl up in that crooked space between your
arms
and feel your
embrace.
To breathe in anew the whiff of peppermint and caffeine.
I want to get drown for the nth time in those dark irises
of your myopic eyes,
never to resurface again.
I miss you…
I remember the butterflies and the buzz of the bees as we
wave goodbye.
The sad smile and the blank gaze as the summer sun
wrapped you in a halo,
A visual metaphor embedded forever in my reveries.
As my salty tears blinded me of your silhouette,
fading with the twilight sun.
My solitary footsteps on the sand as the vicious wave
came crashing by.
My cries lost in the howling of the wind…
I miss you…
